INGREDIENTS

Healthon offers both Generic (Commercial Grade) and compounded Semaglutide, a GLP-1 injection with the same active ingredient as Ozempic® and Wegovy®. 

The multi-dose vial of Semaglutide differs from brand-name Ozempic® and Wegovy®, which are in a preloaded injection pen. You will be provided with complete instructions and necessary supplies for super-easy and painless injections. 

Healthon’s Semaglutide formulations are only obtained from FDA-registered manufacturers with active DMF (Drug Master File) listed with the US FDA and are in full compliance.

ELIGIBILITY & APPROVAL PROCESS

After selecting your preferred program, you will complete a comprehensive medical intake form which will be reviewed by our licensed providers to determine if it is medically appropriate based on his/her medical evaluation and clinical judgment. Should the prescribing physician have any questions regarding your medical history or further clarifications needed, our clinical team will reach out accordingly. Please note you can communicate with your prescribing physician and your care team at any given time through your patient portal. 

Following your approval, your prescription will be dispensed automatically to one of our partner pharmacies for expedited filling and shipment.

HOW TO USE

FD-approved Semaglutide is a once-weekly sub-Q injectable GLP-1 weight loss medication. 

• Dosage: The dose varies from 0.25mg/week to 2.4mg/week. Typical titration starts with an initial dose of 0.25mg once weekly and gradually increases every four weeks.

• Injection Sites: Inject into the lower stomach (2 inches from the belly button), upper arm, or upper leg. Avoid tender, bruised, red, or hard areas.

• Rotation: Rotate injection spots within the same area weekly.

• Cleaning: Clean the site with an alcohol swab or soap and water, allow it to dry, and do not touch it after cleaning.

• Storage: Store Semaglutide injections as directed in the prescription sheet.

• You can take Semaglutide with or without food

Your medical provider may adjust your dose during your treatment to improve compliance and achieve a better outcome.

Typical Titration Schedule:

• Month 1: 0.25 mg weekly

• Month 2: 0.5 mg weekly

• Month 3: 1.0 mg weekly

• Month 4: 1.5 mg weekly

• Month 5: 2.0 mg weekly

• Month 6 & Beyond: 2.4 mg weekly
